Health & Wellness Coaching For Educators

Rick Goudzwaard, M.A., ACC

You may have landed here because as a new or seasoned educator

you have been wrestling lately with questions like: How can I…

  • Navigate the ups, downs and pressures of teaching today?
  • Take better care of myself in all areas of my life?
  • Have a confidential space to offload, process and explore your challenges and opportunities?
  • Achieve a better work/home life balance?
  • Build a greater self-confidence?
  • Handle self and others’ criticism?
  • Remove any roadblocks so I can achieve my goals?

As a life-long educator I’ve asked some of these same questions.

I’ve been where you are and I can help! I have experienced burnout in my life and career and through those experiences have learned to focus on my health and wellness practices for a happier and more productive life.

As a professionally trained and certified coach (International Coaching Federation) I can’t wait to partner with you to get from where you are now to where you want to be, personally and/or professionally.

Bio & Style of Coaching

rick goudzwaard

My wife and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest corner of Washington State. I have spent my lifetime within the educational system; as school counselor, stress management workshop leader, CISD (Critical Incident Stress Debriefing) team member, youth behavior management instructor for teachers and personal coach for those seeking to develop a greater sense of health and well-being.

I have an easy-going and inviting coaching style, creating a safe, confidential, yet challenging space to help you produce extraordinary results in your personal and professional life. I will be your number one champion!

In each meeting, you will choose the focus of conversation while I actively listen and contribute observations, ask powerful questions, give meaningful feedback and utilize other techniques. This will empower you to clarify your goals, work through any obstacles that may be in your way of achieving them, build your “inner-core”, and develop a sustainable plan of action to reach your goals.
